The Tiny House Experiment

The Tiny House Experiment

Tiny100 is a 6,4 sqm home by architect Van Bo Le-Mentzel created as a prototype to provide affordable living space in expensive mega cities and is named after the amount of monthly rent a resident would have to pay.

In its jubilee year (reminder: we will turn 60 this year!) the Studentendorf will return to its roots and once again be a place for experimental living. The Tiny100 will be here at Schlachtensee for the whole of February and 13 students that have been chosen by the lot will spend 48 hours each in the Tiny100 to test it. The experiences of these testers will be analyzed and evaluated in a workshop in March to assess if Tiny Houses are suitable for student housing.

Come and have a look at the Tiny100 on our public visitors’ day!
