Presently, chances are high for students and PhD-students to get an affordable apartment or room in a shared flat at Studentendorf Schlachtensee in the Berlin district of Steglitz-Zehlendorf.

The availability for the summer semester is much higher than in the years before. Due to the current pandemic crisis a lot of international students cannot start or continue their exchange semester and thus have canceled their rental contracts.
